Dixie thanks for this recipe.  I don't drink very much, but every now and
then I enjoy a warm beverage like this or coffee with Irish cream.

This is my recipe for:
 
Spiced Caramel Apple Cider
 
Bring to a boil in a medium saucepan:
 
¼ cup heavy cream
¼ cup dark brown sugar
 
Boil for a minute or two, stirring constantly.
 
Then add:
3 cups of apple cider
½ cup water.
 
Lower heat to medium and heat through.  Do not boil.
 
To serve:
Pour a shot of Captain Morgan Spiced rum into a mug then fill the mug the
rest of the way with the Caramel Apple Cider.
