First, Jill is going to have a problem, her underwear is on the pole in
South Carolina. Second, Hettie, wants to do a Monday night chat on this in
January I believe. I was hoping to get a week of lessons in February for the
long winter nights. Let's book it and round up those who want to share.
Third, find the name of the glue, what good is the sales lady conversation.

I asked about glue at AC Moore's and they suggested this [can't remember the
name], but it comes in a tube like toothpaste.  [The name is something like
floss or something to do about your teeth]
  Anywise I will find out the name as I bought  it and haven't used it yet.
It is really thick like toothpaste and the sales lady told me they used it
with pre school kids.   They had to glue things onto a clay flower pot.  She
told me that they put the glue on and stuck whatever onto the pot and it
didn't move.  She told me it dries clear so if you come up with some of this
why not use this type of glue.  I do have some ideas about doing some
decorative Barrettes 

Everyone now hold on and don't get those underwear in a knot[I would have
said panties, but we have guys here, too], but Terry was thinking and
suggesting this for a class in February for Valentine's Day.  You are all
jumping the gun here.

Let's not pass around all these ideas, instructions and that when this
should be a class to share with each other.

So if you want to share someone step up and do a class before the middle of
December.  And if not then save this for after Christmas.

We have some class time left in November and December, so it is your choice
when to do this class.

I have all my classes in except 1 more for December.  The first week in
November is booked with lasses already.

That sounds great, as long as we can put them on the computer for Jaws to
read them or someone to read them for us. No rush, like I said, the new year
for the winter. Nice of her to do this for us. I am getting a lot of helpful
info like from Dixie and the threaded barette. I am wondering about Gorilla
glue, have to look. Thanks.

That would be great, I will file it to refer to as I go. You are correct, I
do not want to mess with any hot glue, have a problem with regular glue
without making it hot. Love to hear her instructions. I am looking at a
company where you purchase their tools and get the instructions, but still
not happy with what I am hearing, have to look farther.

Terry, I will share my daughter's instructions with you if you can determine
a substance to use other than hot glue to secure the ribbons. I might add
she is doing only hair bows and clips.  No head bands or pony tail holder
yet.

Sending out this call for anyone who has information that can direct me. I
am still interested in making hair bows and accessories and I think a few
others are also. I know Joyce has some knowledge of this, are there others
out there? I have 6 grandaughters and I know there are other members out
there that might be interested. I have looked at this and read about tools
to make bows and other things and not sure how to go. I also know there are
classes out there you can purchase but they are not descriptive. I will be
researching this again and would like to know if there is interest out there
from others or if anyone has done this craft. There are many different
things out there from pony tail holders to barrettes to baby headbands and
holiday hair accessories, we could do a month of classes. If there is
interest please let me know. Joyce has the Princesses have to know if she
has done any of this.
