[Nfb-krafters-korner] figure 8 scarf, help help!

Henry and everyone:
I was doing so well and then minor goof up so out it all came. No problem I can just do it again.  Easier said than done.  I’ve messed up! can’t figure  out what to  do at the right  end of loom.
I did the first knit off where the yarn was back at  peg 1 and peg 24 had just 1 loop. I completed  the knit off.
I wrapped starting with peg 2 - leaving peg 1 with 1 loop continued back & forth to right side of loom. 
After wrapping peg 23 do I wrap peg 24 or skip it?
then after knitting off, where is the first peg I wrap?
I am using 12 x 2 peg loom. I do not turn my loom  so peg 1 is always on top left and peg 24 is on lower right.  My confusion is with those pegs on the right. 
I think I should wrap all the pegs up to 24, then knit off. then wrap 23 ignore  24 and wrap 22  then  21 and continue  on to peg 1.
I’m just not sure  if this is correct. I admit I may have ripped it out a couple or so times, no confidence left. boo hoo just kidding no tears here.
