Very well said, Michelle and Terry K.

To me, this group is like a large family. I have been with the group, since it first began and have made many friends, human, furry, big and small!
I have also learned a lot and built up my comfidence. I never would have thought of trying to sell my work, if it were not for what I learned at KK. I am hooked on loom knitting and have expanded my knitting and just started learning to crochet. I never thought I could even, teach!
Thanks to KK. Now I need to improve my computer skills!
I need to become efficient at downloading, with windows.

Terry P.

Hello,

I tend not to involve myself in what I consider "negative talk". I , as a newer member of the group, believe we all have the right to speak. Longevity does not give a member more privilege over another. Since we all pay the same amount for dues, we are all equal.

I waited a few days, as I often do, to let this email stew. We all need to be thoughtful prior to pressing the send key on all emails. I find when I am irritated about an issue, if I stop and re-read what I am preparing to send to the world, I often update my statement and sometimes do not send it at all.

I am not writing this to begin a long conversation as who has privilege versus who does not, I am writing to ask members to consider who is receiving your message. As a new member, what you write is what helps me to form an opinion of you. When we are thoughtful to one in this arena, we all know it. We all know the reverse as well.

In conclusion, I appreciate what anyone has done to further the goals of this group. Joyce leads the way. As a President of a local Chapter, I know the weight and where it can fall. In the opinion of Michelle, you are doing a great job!

Thanks,,

Michelle

Well, I have been quiet since Thursday and so has the list. So, as usual I will speak out. I have been here 7 years and that gives me the right, so if anyone reading is is upset, Press Delete Key right here. I joined this list to talk back and forth with other crafters and vision impaired people like me. There is no other list like this one out there. Yes, the list gets a little wordy once in a while and you do have to pick and chose what you want to read. However, these messages are coming from people I consider friends and I want to share their losses and their good times. I want they to know I have been around for awhile and this is not just a craft group, but someone is really praying for them and really cares, even if I can not be there one on one. If this group is too chatty for you, there is something wrong with you. If you do not post back, shame on you, you are the one with the problem. No I do not want to hear every little thing, but I do want to know about the healings and the accomplishments of ribbons and awards even if it was for a apple pie at the fair. There is nothing better to know that you can share with others. So list, keep posting, I for one am listening and reading. If KK is for everyone, please share, and we can use the delete key.
I agree we need to be careful to Ot or change Subject lines, but if you have a blessing to share, or a proud moment to ell, Post it. We grow, not because we can make a craft, but for the caring group of people we are. If that changes I will be the first to unsubscribe. If anyone heard anything at the Membership meeting and you feel you have to change things you post, please know that was Not coming from the entire group. If there is a problem with too much posting or Ot messages they will be addressed, I for one want the list to go on as it was and with the notices coming out monthly on how KK operates it will all be good. I have made wonderful friends here, do not know if others can say that, and I feel badly for them. So keep posting, and the others who do not want to post or read the list, place a Huge Bump Dot on that Delete key as they drink Pickle Juice.

Respectfrully submitted for all those who I love on this list.

Terry Knox
