Greg,

Good question.  Our classes are focused on teaching, learning and sharing
for crafting for the visually impaired/blind.  But as our motto says,
Krafters Korner is for everyone and Everyone makes Krafters Korner what it
is.

We do have sighted members and they take and teach classes, too.  If we
don't teach the sighted how will they ever know how we need to be taught?

I saw there too that North Carolina has an address too!

Is Krafter's Korner for blind and visually impaired or is it for the general
public? I am a member of a general loom knitting list that is not active. 
Anybody in the world can join. Joyce invited a lady to take your class who
posted she was looking for instruction with the double rake loom. I thought
we were for the visually impaired. Am I wrong?

I had forgot about joining that list till this message popped up. Plan to
unsubscribe.

This is a great idea. I had a niece who only lived a couple months due to a
congenital heart defect. This project is not just Chicago. You need to go to
www.heart.org/LittleHatsBigHearts mentioned in the article referenced and
find a state near you. I will be crocheting for Georgia just because that is
the yarn skill I am best at today. Will you join me in participating in this
project or if you want to participate and don't have time, you can donate
yarn. If anyone wants to donate yarn to me to know where it went, I'll be
happy to crochet it for you. But, better yet, make and send your own. They
also give some patterns at the Georgia site for both newborn and Premie.
Sorry, there weren't any loom patterns. But, they prefer simple hats and all
absolutely must be in red. The deadline for Georgia is received by January
15, 2016.
