you just had to go and remind everyone about the poncho from hell-oh didn't 
you? Lol.
When I made that thing for some one,it came out great,I guess that the devil 
got into the mix with that class.

It opens in the frunt.  It usually has buttons, but could have a zipper.
The other one is usually called a pull over and the one with out arms is a 
vest.

Excuse my ignorance, but is a cardigan a sweater with a zipper, buttons, or 
a pull-over.

Very interesting that ponchos are back in style. I remember wearing one when 
I was in school that my grandma knitted for me. <smile what a nice memory>

Now our Henry does not have such a good memory concerning ponchos. He taught 
this class on a poncho and the pattern was called "pleasing ponchette." We 
all had so much difficulty with that pattern that I renamed it the 
"displeasing poncho."
