Davey is a super guy.  He came to one of our chats a few years back when the
book first came out.

He also is a co organizer over on Yahoo.  I think the name is Blind
Knitters.

Yes, I'm working on The Touch of Yarn, Intermediate Edition, not based on
anyone else's work or strategies.  Unfortunately, work on it has been slowed
due to many unforeseen life happenings.  So, don't hold your breath on that.

I'd like to get it out by next fall, but if life doesn't quit happening,
that may get postponed as well. (smile)

Now, as to you learning, too, I just know this.  My daughter had tried to
learn with all sorts of books, videos, and lessons, with very poor results
and high levels of frustration.  I sent her the book in 2009 for editing and
critiquing.  She got it and has knit seemingly acres of stuff for her kids
and family members.  I also had an 8-year-old child use it with success.
She had been referred to me by a professional educator who had said it was
the best book on knitting she had ever seen.

So, give it a try.

Does anyone know where one can get the touch of yarn book now days, in an
accessible, preferably text or pdf, format? It looks promising but I can't
find it, as the touchofyarn.com website seems to no longer exist.

If not, other ideas would be welcome for learning.
