There are all types of ribbons that can be used.  Some fray more then
others.  Basically the grosgrain are used frequently for hair ribbons.
These don't fray unless you wash them and fray very little.  Your double
sided satin ribbons are good.  They will hold up OK unless you toss it in
the washing machine.  Some ribbons fall apart if they get wet.

There are several websites that sell supplies for making hair ribbons,
Barrettes .   and all that stuff, try contacting them and ask for advise.

Have any of you ever used ribbon in any of your projects? If so how did you
keep the ends from fraying? I am wanting to learn how to make hair bows but
I am not sure of the best way to keep my ribbon from fraying.
