[Nfb-krafters-korner] Crocheted Knockers Class

If anyone knows of a man who is dealing with male breast cancer, I would 
like the opportunity to crochet for him a prayer cloth. It would just be a 
small crocheted piece to say to him that he is not alone and to acknowledge 
his struggles and achievements. I feel that while the Knitted Knockers 
program does provide a real service by providing the prosthetic, perhaps an 
equally important part of that program is the fact that someone took the 
time to acknowledge that person and to actually spend time with intention 
and supportive thoughts. I had been trying to think of a way to support the 
men and have finally figured this out. So, if anyone knows of a person, 
contact me off list.

Greg, my most beloved Uncle Steve had his breast removed. Yes indeed it 
affects men as well.

Have you signed up yet? Have you ordered your yarn yet? Are you getting 
excited yet? I hope all of the answers are yes. But, if they are not, it is 
time to get busy and get them all done. The crochet technique is simple. It 
will just take a little time and is a great time to honor those affected by 
breast cancer both male and female. Yes. Breast cancer is a male condition 
too. I’ll be looking forward to working with all of you very soon. October 5 
will be here before you know it!
