I agree with all tips.  I usually think about, how much would I be willing to pay for this item if I bought it, hand made.  
Hat and scarf sets, I have a price for the scarf, a price for the hat and $5 off if the person buys the set.
If things go right, I am going to sell my craft items at our fair grounds, in October, with my sisters help.  They have some second hand items to sell.
This will be my first sale, outside the NFB.
I have done a few sales, one on one.

The consensus I’ve read about on Facebook is 2 -3 times the cost of the yarn you used as a minimum. You can factor in your time at a certain wage if you choose, some will also factor in a little for the difficulty level of the project. I personally have sold a few items generally at 2x the cost of material plus shipping and maybe just a tad bit more. Non crafters do not realize the cost of supplies and the amount of time it take to make each item.
Oh yes, I have gone over to Easy.com and looked at similar items to see they are pricing them at..
