How do you prevent the protrolium jelly from getting on the nails where you
want the polish to stick?

Applying protrolium jello around the nail works also.  Apply the jelly,
paint the nails, wait til they dry and rub off the jelly.  Helps soften the
cuticles as well.

Actually, someone on this list (Cindy Z. I think) suggested using elmer's
glue. Put it around the nail, paint the nail, then pill off when dry.
