[Nfb-krafters-korner] To the Board

Hello Courtney and those interested,

We members of the board all are currently working to help KK and Joyce in
different ways. at present we have a greeting card committee that is working
on selling cards to raise money for the division. We have another committee
working on creating a coloring book for visually impaired children as
another fun-raiser. We all have different talents and varying amounts of
time that we can spent on KK business. 
I personally work constantly on posting to our social media sites. Cindy Z
is handling our finances. LisaMaria, Theresa, Jill Ramona, Joyce and myself
are all on committees. 
Joyce knows that she can ask us for help at any time.
We on the board go quietly about our work so you may assume that we are
doing nothing, however, this is far from the case.


If any of you are interested in helping Joyce, please feel free to ask her
if there is something you can do to help her.

If you have a particular interest in helping a committee with selling
braille greeting cards  or coloring books, please post to the list and
someone will get back to you. 

For example, Ramona posted awhile back asking if anyone would like to sell
greeting cards at their state convention. She had only one response to her
post. Contact her or myself if you would like to sell greeting cards.
Contact Jill if you would like to help with the coloring books.

Terry K, Greg, Henry and others  who are not on the board are planning a
great Xmas party for us. 
Oh yes, I sent out a post telling everyone about a presentation Joyce and I
will be giving on a site called Games Galore and More, where we will be
talking about our division and offering a free introduction to crochet
class. I had invited anyone to join us, but have heard from no one as of
yet. The event will be on Saturday October  17 at 2 PM eastern. If you want
more information let us know we would be happy to have your support on the
project.
 

So, join in and help out in whatever way appeals to you.  

Finally don't forget what Joyce always says: 
Krafters Korner is for everyone and it takes everyone to make Krafters
Korner what it is.
