Yeah, we are really, really excited! 
Thanks so much for the offer of help, Terry. I have Paypal and so far it has
worked very well for me.
I think I might like to try something like a tissue box cover or covering a
wooden box maybe?
I did some basic plastic canvas many years ago, mainly just working in
straight rows with one color at a time and didn't find it too difficult. I
would think that there are many different stitches and techniques, though?
Thanks again, and a class would be very nice.

This is a great suggestion and I'll keep you to it, smiles.
Joyce posted us some squares which we will share. We live far from one
another, Lindy at the coast and me at the other end of the country. I'll
post Lindy's package to her, so no need for two packages to be send abroad.
Will contact you when we had a look at the plastic canvas but we're very
excited.

How far are the two of you, from each other?  Maybe one box could be sent to
one and you could shair it and split the cost.  
I would put in the box, full sheats of canvas, 4 by 4 squares, crosses and
stars.  These are the easiest shapes to work with.  The holes are not evenly
spaced on the heart or the octicon or the circle.  I can teach you to work
with these shapes, but it is very hard and nerve racking! 
See if you can find out what the shipping would be from Maryland to your
country.  Have either of you done this craft, before?  
I am willing to make some tactual samples, after the new year About how many
would you want of each shape?
I now have a pay pal account, but have not used it yet.  How would you pay
me with foreign curancy.

Same here, Hettie. 
Hettie and I have been trying to get hold of some plastic canvas here in
South Africa, but, apparently, they just don't import it anymore.
 Not sure why. Maybe there isn't a large enough market for it?
We use to be able to buy it many years ago, but not anymore.

Is the plastic canvas sold per meter and what is the width?
I'm thinking of asking someone of you to send me a sample depending on the
cost.

I got as a gift a plastic canvas pattern and am working on that. I cut my
own plastic canvas very slowly one rib at a time. Did I mess up? Yes. The
first two squares are in my scrap bag to be reused. But, I got it done. 
Learning a new stitch and will share it sometime in the future when I feel
really comfortable with it. It makes a gift box complete with ribbon around
it (stitched).

Let's get back to crafting.  Division is planning a membership meeting in
October  so watch for the notice on that.

Come on this Monday at 9 PM for our Chat on the Chapter titled "Drunker's
Path" from the book, Sewing Can be Dangerous and some other threads"   There
will be a brief discussion on the Quilt vlock called the Drunker's Path.  I
hope to give a class on this block after the first of the year.

We switched the date for the Ghost lollipop toppers to October 12th.

It is almost October, has anyone started any new winter projects [knitting,
sewing, crocheting, etc.]?  Anyone working on a new pattern? New craft?

Where do you find a new project idea from? [not counting Krafters Korner]
