[Nfb-krafters-korner] hello from a new member

Hi Dotty, warm smile. Any knitting machine to a point can be adapted. I
don't need to see the carriage come to the end of a row, I can hear the
certain sound it makes. You develop a feel to figure out how many needles
you will need to make x project so wide. It is a lot of trial and error, oh
trust me, smile. Every yarn behaves differently on the machine, even from
the same brand. How tightly the machine will knit I have marked in Braille.
That is the only adaptation I could figure out other then my hands feeling
how the yarn is reacting coming off the needles.

I have an SK 860 and SK 890, I think, silly smile.

Others on list can chime in what they use and what adaptations they were
able to make.

Warmly,
Becky and the boss Jake

Hello, Becky,
Can you tell us which knitting machine you use and why that one works for
blind people? Thanks.
Dotty
