I would say not sure if you are talking about crochet, loom knitting or
what, but Patterns or beginner books have printed in words patterns   I
would say a good place is the internet.  There are all different patterns,
directions and crafting skills.  So if one doesn't have what you need then
another might.

Lion Brand yarns have a good selection of patterns and even loom knitting
patterns.  You can even print them out in Braille if you have the equipment.

Dear Crafters,

For the sake of not confusing threads, I figured it'd be best if I just
created a new one for each of my questions.

When it comes to an absolute beginner on the loom, would you suggest any
particular books or patterns to try? From my experience, patterns are all
visual, and so I'm uncertain how a book of patterns could be helpful unless
the patterns are written out as well as shown in drawings or images?
