For those taking the up coming Soap Sack and Market Bag. While you have the time, if you or someone you know is shopping at a Wal-mart that has a craft department, ask or get a cone of 100% Cotton yarn. Here it sells for $7.98 and you can get a great deal from the cone. It was made by Lilly Sugar and Cream but they have sold the company. Pick a plain color like a white or cream and you will be pleased with how many projects you will get from this one cone. It also makes wonderful kitchen items, that I will teach in the Fall. You can purchase a small skein of cotton but you will need at least one or two for soap sack and a great many more for the bag. So save yourself some money and purchase the cone and save, these items will be your practice before making and giving these items.
