Because I had so many request for this and the cupcake mason jar. I am
posting it online list. If you do not wish to keep this please delete
messages. For those who requested them read below and enjoy.

                Christmas Mug and Spoon

This can be made separately or attached to make an inexpensive Christmas
gift for a few or many

Mug

1.Purchase a Christmas mug of your choice and complete spoon below to
attach.

2.You can make your own hot chocolate mix in a snack bag or purchase a
package of mix like Swiss Mix from grocery store and place in mug. You could
use other things like Russian tea or cider but would not include spoon.

3.Make you spoon, attach with curling ribbon and wrap entire mug with
plastic wrap and tie that with curling ribbon.

Great gift for teacher or Sunday school teacher. Read below for spoon.

Spoon

1.Purchase box of heavy duty plastic spoons from grocery. Must be heavy duty
Not cheaper white one. Get heavy plastic.

2.Melt semi-sweet chocolate chips in microwave or on stove until completely
melted. I sometime place a little shortening into the chocolate when melting
it. In microwave at 30 seconds at a time, stirring to test for the smooth
melt.

3.Immediately take your spoons while chocolate is melted, and dip half the
spoon in the chocolate to coat.

4.Have ready to place on the top of the spoon with the still damp chocolate
either, crushed candy cane pieces or Christmas sprinkles or cut up colored
marshmallows. Place these on top of spoon and then allow chocolate on spoon
to dry completely on wax paper.

5.When spoon has dried, place in piece of plastic wrap and twist under the
spoon at handle and tie with curling ribbon and tie spoon to handle of mug
if making a set.

Spoons can be made alone and you can make an entire box full to give or just
with the packs of hot chocolate, without the mug to many.

Of course the little boys in the class, did not want the hot chocolate, but
quickly took the wrapping off the spoon and ate the candy and chocolate and
threw away the spoon. So just be aware of this one also, do not let it
bother you.
