[Nfb-krafters-korner] hand puppets

At this year's local fiber festival, we saw finger puppets that were various
animals. Emmie currently likes the lion. One suggestion I have is to make
them to fit both adult and kid size fingers. I was thinking maybe make the
body in ribbing instead of stockinette to give it both stretch and tightness
plus the ability to be folded over for smaller fingers. She wants to put it
on her finger like we do an there is not enough give in the stockinette to
fold it down far enough for her fingers (she is 18 months).

I am thinking about making some hand puppets for our church's craft fair,
either knitting them or sewing them. I have some ideas about how to do
this, but I am wondering if any of you have done this and have some good
ideas.
