I am sending notes on making your own Christmas tree that you can use for a
dollhouse or stand alone or in a scene for little to no funds that you build
on each year.

1. Purchase a 12 inch bottle tree, that is the Christmas shape tree
use in train platforms, that feels like a bristle brush. Some are frosted in
white. I use the unfrosted.

2. .Go to a craft site, like Consumer crafts or Wal-mart and purchase
a line of lights in your choice of colorthat is battery powered. About 7.00.
Start at top and place light on tree. You can stop there is desired.

3. .Now design or purchases. Make stars using the stars you used in
school, comes in many colors, place 2 back together with a small part of a
toothpick and place on top of tree.

4. .Make your garland by finding chenille pipe stems that have the
fringe sticking out and wrap around your tree. You can make your own
decoration by using small charms, small jewelry finds and pretty sequins.

5. .You can make ornatments by splitting a necklace of costume beads,
painting a different color, and glitter some and old earrings you have one
of.

6. .Make a tree skirt with a piece of flannel from Wal-mart for about
45cents, trace a coffee can lid and cut it round and place a slit in the
back to place under tree, Design it by adding biase lace with glue and find
some cust foam shapes to glue on the skirt.

Explore what you can do and make using a small mind idea. Make a snowman of
beads, make mini fake presents with really small boxes or pieces of wood and
wrap with foil wrapping and baby yarn or cord. Hope you enjoyed the chat.
