[Nfb-krafters-korner] OT Texas questions

Hello I know this is really off topic, so hope it's ok.

A good friend of mine who is blind is considering moving to TX and would
like to know more about it.  I know TX is huge and there are many, many
different places to live and work.

She would like some opinions on how good rehab services are there.  Would
she be able to get O and M training?

What about assistants with finding employment?

If they move it will be because of her husbands job.

I know we have some members who live in Texas, but I'm not sure where.  If
you all could chime in and tell me about where you live, the transportation,
sidewalks and such I could share the information with her.

Any information will be appreciated.

Hi Sandra and all,

Here are two smiley face  drawing directions  Minh sent to me. They are real
cute. Making them, then tracing them with my fingers and remembering what
everyone has described I would say that these pictures certainly feel like
smiley faces to me. I will ask my daughter to look at them before deciding
about having them on our cards.

Here are the instructions for a couple of smiley faces. The first one is the
original smiley face with no nose, but a friend of mine added a nose to the
second smiley face. I prefer the first smiley face myself, but the second
one is also cute.
