I hope you enjoyed your Christmas and had a great Holiday no matter what
your beliefs are.

I truly did have a great Christmas with fantastic food and trimmings.

Saturday JC, my Mom and I went up to Katie's house in the afternoon around 2
PM. It had snowed a bit in the morning before we got there. So the weather
was perfect to get everyone in the mood. After we got there Xander and his
Dad went outside and built a snowman for all of us. There was no carrots
left so frosty had to use a hot dog for his nose.

Katie's husband, Mike aked all the cookies and got the Lasonya in the oven
before he went out to make Frosty.

So we had a nice Christmas eve, great food and 2 children opening presents
as we exchanged our presents with Katie's family Christmas Eve.

Once the boys went to bed around 9: 30 PM Great Gram & Uncle J left for
home shortly after 7PM. Once the boys were down, Santa's helpers[the
parents] went looking in all the hiding places to find what they had wrapped
and hid the night before.

I slept on the couch so when Xander got up I would here him come down. He
came down around 7 a.m. and basically my daughter was up and waiting. He
came down and sat on the floor first before spreading out on his tummy
holding his chin up with his hands just steering at all the presents,
twinkling lights and ornaments on the tree. He then curled up in his Mom's
lap just looking at all the presents. He didn't touch anything.

He mentioned there was lots of presents and then Katie asked him if he
wanted to open themn. He was told to go get Daddy up and he could open his
presents. He did rush off upstairs to get Daddy out of bed which did wake
up JJ. So they came down all the boys.

I want to tell all of you Xander got 16 presents and JJ got 6 presents.
Xander started opening presents at like 7:30 a.m. and he didn't finish
opening all of his until almost 11:45 a.m. He opened one at a time and then
would ask his Dad, Help me Daddy. They would go down the basement with the
box and open it up and play with it for a while before he wanted to come up
and open another one. So He enjoyed each toy one at a time and one of the
funniest things he got this hot wheels race track that was shaped as a 4
leaf clover with 6 tracks wide. The purpose was so you could get all these
cars racing around and crashing into each other went it went thru the
charger to speed them around. Well his Autism he Doesn't like a lot of
noise or commotion around him so he absolutely refused to run all the cars
at once. He wanted only one car at a time and he sat there watching one
car. He didn't want them to crash up.

He ended up with something like 4 tracks and car sets, I got him a Fisher
price Christmas railroad set and he had me rolling on the floor because he
kept asking where the remote control was, didn't they have batteries to make
it work, what was wrong with it? The train moved by pushing it with your
hand... OH well, his Mommy sent me the link to get it on Amazon.

We all went to the Princesses house for dinner and there was Barbie doll
clothes and the 10 year old wanted a baby doll that you could give a bottle
and change the diapers. We did offer her to practice changing JJ's diapers,
but she has done that before when he was littler, now he squirms too much.

Uncle J got each of them the same thing. They can hook their IPads to this
thing and it willact like projector and put their games or movies or music
video on the wall.

So I finally got home to be with Mara and plan on giving her a few snack
treats, going outside and to bed early tonight...

Merry Christmas to all
A Healthy New Year to us all.
