[Nfb-krafters-korner] Becky scarf question

Clarifying the stitch please:
> is it half double crochet into the front loop or the back loop of the stitch in the preceding row? 
I’ve been doing the front loop.  Maybe I’m doing my own pattern? Oh well, think it looks good or just consistent.
