There is a new class that is upcoming that you need to watch for. A two
lesson class starting on March 17 and March 24 at 2PM Eastern time. The
class is Crochet Counting, Pattern reading and Learning a New Crochet
stitch. I will teach the basic skills on counting stitches and tools like
stitch counters, markers and the reason and necessite of counting. Then how
to read a crochet pattern and terms to know in the first class and a New
stitch beyond the Triple Crochet. So if you know how to crochet and want to
move farther ahead watch for this class to sign up for coming soon. You must
have completed the Beginners Crochet class to do this class or know your
basic stitches also.

Another great class today. Everyone was prepared and ready to move on and
learn. It is getting more involved and everyone willing to try. I need
Levette's email to send notes from today, if you want them. We will finish
next week with the half, double and triple and move on in March to count,
read patterns and a new stitch. You all come join us in March and you will
all, hopefully, add to your skill of crocheting, or be totally frustrated

The repeat class or Counting Crochet, Pattern reading and new stitch will be
given on Thursday, April 144 and April 21 at 8PM eastern time. This will be

The web committee is very excited to share the new website with you. it is
going to look a lot different, but also a lot easier to navigate.
If the new site is up on Monday the 29th, I will take you on a tour of the
new site using my PC and jaws. We will explore the homepage, the many links
and of course stop by and check out the new current classes page so I can
show you the new sig up form.
If you'd like to join in with your own computer to follow along, that is
fine, however I would prefer you to mute yourself during the tour.
Of course we will take questions.

I have been busy making up cards for us to sell at the annual convention. We
now are offering two new cards: a Christmas tree in a large card and a
Christmas bell in a small card for the holidays. Ramona and I have designed

PayPal link for purchasing cards.
One of these days, I hope to have pictures of all of the cards up on the
website along with descriptions of the pictures and the variety of sayings
that can be placed in any of the cards.

1. These classes might not be up on March first as our goal is to have all

I sent Barb an email to see how she is doing. She gave me a fantastic
report as far as her hearing is going.
" doing great with my CI, my sentence understanding has gone from 33% up to
90%, single word understanding from 27% to 73%, so progress is doing good.
I'm told I can go ahead and have the other ear done but thinking I'll wait
until Aug. or Sept. to do that. I'm hoping things will slow down soon so I
can join y'all for a Monday night chat to test out the phone with all the

Hi Cathy,
I would be happy to help make and sell the cards. I had made a card for one of my clients a few years ago. Not to toot my horn, but I thought it came out pretty good and so did she. I think I can reproduce it and send it to you if you like. I am a long time braille user and have a Perkins Brailler to work with. I'm hoping to be at the convention this summer, but need and want someone to share the room with me. Thanks for putting your email address. I'll communicate further with you through your email.
