[Nfb-krafters-korner] Measuring tape

The NFB store stopped carrying this tape measure.  I spoke to the person at
the NFB store.  She told me they stopped carrying it due to the price almost
doubling.  I told her that as a sewer and everything else I do I don't care
if it went up in price.  I need it and use it.  

Independent living Aids carries them as I purchased 2 of them when I ordered
them, just in case someone else decides not to carry them.  I believe I paid
$13 each plus shipping.

The NFB store has a 5 foot tape measurer.  It is not on a role.  It is
flexible plastic with metal holes for the inch, half and quarter inch.  Two
holes are at each foot.
I just fold it up, a few times and put a rubber band around it.  I love it.
They also have a folding, metal, braille ruler.  I think it is still around.
I like things that are compact and I can take with me!

Happy New Year.

I am looking for a high-quality and reliable accessible tape measure. I
bought a tactile tape measure from the braille superstore a while back, but
do not like The design of the tape measure since it was not brailled but had
staples to delineate the inches. I am starting to design my own doggie
sweater, and I need a way to precisely measure different lengths, so if you
have any suggestions, I would really appreciate it
