Joyce, I am been ill over the holidays; therefore, not feeling up to
crafting.  I made scarves, hats and a baby cozey before Christmas.  About
all I could do being confined to my recliner was crafts.  I plan to attend
the mitten class tonight, although I did not sign up for it.  I have never
like knitting with circular needles.  Maybe I will hear something tonight to
help me use circular needles.

Relax, Joyce.  I am sure many people are busy this winter.  We have at least
four people making the knittede bag dispensers, and I suspect some more are.

I am working on a top down raglan sweater made with white simply soft yarn.
I ripped it all out yesterday, but it will be a nice pattern, pullover with
circular needles and V neck.  .  

My daughter wants this pattern in a cardigan with turned back facings going
into a collar.  She liked it well enough to dictate it, and I have the red
yarn. But there will be a lot of stitches when I have to go up one front
side, around the nect, and down the other side of the front.  Then it calls
for increasing to make the collar wider than the facings.  I hope I can
count well enough and keep the markers all straight.  
I also have an order for covers for chair seats  and the yarn ready to go as
soon as I think I can stand long enough to do it on the machine. I may get
it ready today. It is a simple project made with red, green, and blue
verigated.   

I also have an order and yarn on hand for a pullover lavender sweater, which
I will do partly on the machine.  And I hope to have it all done by spring,
along with a couple of trips.

Either no one is crafting out there or folks are bored.  Except for how
folks are doing with their crocheting, I haven't read much about crafts.  We
had or are having 7 or 8 classes in January.  How are those classes going?

How did the snow flake dish cbcloths come out?  What new technique did you
learn in that class?
 How did your loom shawls go?

It is quiet on those grocery bag holders.

The mitten class I only had 2 folks show up so I will be repeating and
combining the first and second class in Thursday class this Thursday.

What is going on with the classes?  We use to have folks working with their
supplies making the project along while the teachers are explaining.  So if
questions arised, they would be answered.  It seems like no one are working
the project while the teacher is explaining it.  Why not do that?  If you
work on the project and get stuck you can contact the teacher during the
week, you can ask at the next class and teacher and other students will help
you.

You are not getting what you need out of the classes you are taking.  

Let's try turning the hands back the way classes use to be.  Maybe we are
having too many classes or maybe you are taking too many classes.  It just
seems folks are showing up, not doing the project and collecting patterns.
There are an awful lot of patterns out there on the net.  Where else are you
going to get a teacher to explain descriptions in words, answer your emails
if you have trouble and have other students willing to help you via
telephone, email, one to one.
