Hi Joyce and Jill;
Boy Jill, you are a meany today. I needed that hot toddy after trying to 
teach that darned poncho from heck, (You didn't expect me to say hell now 
did you. ) Lol.
We actually got 33.5 inches of that junk, and they say that we're supposed 
to get some more later on this week, yikes! They're dumping the snow by the 
dump truck load full in a parking lot near the RFK football stadium.
Joyce, remember a few years ago when we got 38.5 inches all in one week?

Aw Jill he got aan awful lot of snow dumped on him where he is.  I heard DC
got 30 inches?!?  He isn't that far away from there.

We got 12 inches of the white stuff.  It isn't really bitter cold out there
now either.  Well maybe now as the sun is going down.

Are you stuck in the house?
Is the snow piling up outside your door?
Is it windy and cold?
You can't find anyone to take out the dogs?

Well many of us are facing some of this today.  May I suggest you get out
one of those yarn projects, or quilting project, give the doggy a bone or
one of those mylon bones and both curl up on the couch under something warm,
do have a pillow handy and snuggle down.

The bylon bone or bone will not fill up the doggy's stomach[less time for
going outside] the pillow is for if you get too comfy and the desire to
stretch out  hits you[you don't need to get up]  I wish I had a fire place
that I could hear the fire crackling...  John bought this electric one-heat
does come out of it, it does have a fan in it it is visual[so I have been
told] so it looks like a fire, but man if you have sat by a fire place that
has the metal thingy in front of it [not the glass] sitting there in front
of it or nbear it maybe I can't see it, but you get toasty warm, listen to
the pop, snap of the fire burning now that is where you need to be on a day
like today with the snow falling and of course working on your craft
projects staying in the house.
