Laurie Porter is the jam lady.  She is blind and use to also be our beading
teacher.  I would love to know how to make jams and this is the time that
all these wonderful fruits are available.

How about an intro on this for a Monday Night Chat??  We are looking for
July 18 chat!!!

My grandmother used the bath method. I remember watching her & thinking
about when I got older I would get her to teach me how to can goodies.
Well, when I got older, she wasn't able to teach me & we didn't have a
garden because my grandfather had passed away.

Now that I have the desire to learn, it's hard to find someone to teach me.
You & I may just have to have our own little canning class.
