I'll add, just for fun, that in Ohio we can't have rehabilitation services
we have to have opportunities for Ohioans with Disabilities.  Oo ! Seriously
the agency did change its name. The claim was that people thought it was a
service for prisoners, and addicts when it was Rehabilitation Services
Commission. 

Yes, I agree that we the Blind will speak for ourselves.

I am reading a book on speaking correctly today. This applies to all of us
on this list and wanted to pass the giggle on.

 

It is no longer correct to use the word Blind in referring to a blind
person. We are now supposed to be addressed as Visually Challenged people.
So you all remember this from now on. No more blind reference just visually
challenged. LOL
