I am winding down from doctor's appointments, tomorrow is the last one I
have. 

So I did keep Laurie's last Facebook notice I received and will reach out to
her.

Nella has agreed to host July 18, at 8:30 PM Eastern,  "Intro to making
jellies"  I just sent the notice to Theresa to have it put up on the
website.

Nella invites everyone to join her and share if they have had some
experience with preserving and making jams & jellies.

Although Lori Porter is no longer a member, maybe there is a chance that she
would be willing to speak at a Monday night chat, or some other time that

Laurie Porter is the jam lady.  She is blind and use to also be our beading
teacher.  I would love to know how to make jams and this is the time that
all these wonderful fruits are available.

How about an intro on this for a Monday Night Chat??  We are looking for
July 18 chat!!!

My grandmother used the bath method. I remember watching her & thinking
about when I got older I would get her to teach me how to can goodies.
Well, when I got older, she wasn't able to teach me & we didn't have a
garden because my grandfather had passed away.

Now that I have the desire to learn, it's hard to find someone to teach me.
You & I may just have to have our own little canning class.
