Yes, they did. Nice job. I grew up canning things at home, and then used to
make a few jams and pickles on my own. i haven't done that in years. You
inspire me to buy a new canner or large stock pot. I appreciate the idea of
how to use a regular stock pot for smaller batches or smaller jars. We just
got an induction stove, so i had to get rid of my old trusty large pots that
weren't compatible. But stainless steel would definitely work.
Thanks for the great notes.
BTW, I have always heard that your product should be 1/2 inch from the top,
not 1/4. Is 1/4 inch enough hed room in your experience?

snowflake using a 12-peg round knitting loom.
Skill level: beginner plus.
Know how to make I-cord and the flat knit stitch. If you took my beginner
spool knit ornaments class last year, you are all set. If you are new to
loom knitting and would like help with practicing these techniques, contact
me before class so you can knit along during the session.

. worsted weight yarn in white
. liquid starch such as Sta-Flo
. tapestry needle
. scissors
