Have you seen the recipe for making apple butter in  the crockpot? I think
I have the recipe if you are interested.

I may have a recipe in my files. I'll check that one, too. I think that is
what some here call chow chow.  I didn't think about making chow chow until
just a few days ago. Would have been a great way to use up my green
tomatoes. Oh, well. Too late now.
