This is just the authors opinion of the matter!
There are so many ways to describe blindness!
I say I am visually impaired or I say I have a sight problem or I am legally
blind.
To each, his own.
There is nothing wrong with the word, blind.
I am proud to be a part of The National Federation of the Blind!

I am reading a book on speaking correctly today. This applies to all of us
on this list and wanted to pass the giggle on.

It is no longer correct to use the word Blind in referring to a blind
person. We are now supposed to be addressed as Visually Challenged people.
So you all remember this from now on. No more blind reference just visually
challenged. LOL
