I have had some success with this kind of doctor.  I am not totally healed,
no way, but have not gone for injections for at least 2 years.  My pain is
manageable.
I know my limits and using a walker helps.  I had a related problem, from a
car  accident, but when the pain started going to the lower part of my arm,
they realized they were treating me for the wrong thing and it was a pinched
nerve in my neck.

Wishing you the best for your new blanket I am sure you will make the right
choice. Question, are you going to a chiropractor? My husband 2 years ago
have a tear in his roator cup and had surgery scheduled. I convinced him to
try the back doctor. He could not raise his left arm over his waist. It took
a year in treatment and physical therapy but it complete healed, been 2
years and nothing again. X-ray shows realign of the back allow tear to, in
time, to repair itself. I AM SURE your situation is different, this was just
a question, I know some people do not like this doctors, I really believe in
them. Hope you get some relief.

I have made several blankets for people doing the standard double crochet
stitch.  I'm starting a new blanket in a few days and trying to decide what
new stitch I might use.  This is for a guy, so nothing fancy like shells,
but possibly a bee stitch.  I know there are tons of stitches out there that
I've never thought about or considered.  Any suggestions Now for an update.
I'm still having trouble with both of my shoulders.  The doctor says
burcitis but he ordered 2 m.r.i scans. So those were done last Wednesday.
It doesn't bother me to crochet, but when it does, I hold off till the next
day.  My left shoulder is the one I had surgery on in 2014.  Now there are
tingling nerves that are aggivating.  I'm afraid they might have to do a
full rotator cuff.
