[Nfb-krafters-korner] convention

I brought this topic up at last nights chat.  The only ones who can vote are those, present at the meeting and have payed their dues.  Those calling in, can elect for an office, but can not vote.  We did not make up these rules.  We followed the rules of the NFB, when we started.
This will be my first convention, that I have not been able to attend, since I started going.
I, myself, am shocked at this news.
Hopefully we will be able to have a call in number, like we did, in the past.

So, since we know nothing, does this mean that the members who are able to attend convention are the ones who elect the new officers? Some information on how all of this works would be helpful as many folks are new.

Please, let us know if you are going to convention.  We need help at the craft fair and in the exhibit hall.  Helpers do not need to be members, so friends and families are encouraged to volunteer.  We will also have our annual business meeting.  Those who are there will have the best seats. We may be able to hook up electronic connectionsk, but the best seats will be in the room. The agenda is out, so go ahead and download it and mark the events you want most to participate in live and  online.  Not all will  be online, but many will, especially the general sessions and the banquet.
