Henry,

First, you do not have By Laws and a Constitution. By Laws would be if we
were only a group under NFB. A constitution is for divisions of the NFB. We
are a part of the NFB and must follow the rules set forth by the national
constitution to allow us to be a division. Every person paying dues to this
division is a member of the NFB because we are a division of the NFB.

Hi Terry P. and Dixie;
yes, the Krafters Korner should draft and adopt it's own set of By Laws and
it's own Constitution.
Right now, it seems to me that the K K is following the General constitution
and by laws that were set forth by the NFB national Headquarters.

We need to find out how we can change our constitution to allot for this. 
As I said, before, we followed another NFB constitution model, when creating
ours.

Interesting...  I don't recall ever having the opportunity to vote for, or
to run for a position on the KK board.

I too would like to see the constitution.

Also, is it required that a division of the NFB run itself in exactly the
same manner as other divisions in the NFB?

Hmm, as I recall, two years ago we did have elections via conference call.
Only Joyce, Jill and myself were on the call. the three of us were on the 
call because we were being elected for offices.  Joyce was voted in again as

president, I was voted in  as second vice president and Jill was voted in as

a board member. Of course we did not vote for ourselves. I don't remember 
any other voting during that meeting.

I must admit to all of you that I do not know what positions are open for 
election this year. So I cannot answer that question. I also do not know the

answer to the issues being discussed. Just to let you know, I am here and 
listening but not responding because I don't know the answers.

It must be that Joyce is away from her computer, or I am certain she would 
be replying to these concerns. I do hope she is well. I do know that she 
reads every single message that is posted to this list.

So please be patient and I know Joyce will reply as soon as she can.
