[Nfb-krafters-korner] Cotton question

How much have you washed your cotton items? I don't find any of the cotton
yarn to be harsh. But, there's no reason you have to use cotton for
dishcloths or washcloths. You can use whatever your favorite is. Most of
what I have is Peaches 'n' Cream but they feel the same to me. Also, A.C.
Moore has their own brand of cotton that is probably much much cheaper than
what you are used to. I got a bunch of the small balls like 2 or maybe 4
ounces for $1 each. But, I think cotton yarn is like your favorite jeans.
The more you wash them, the more soft and comfy they get.

For those who use yarns, a question. I have only used Lilly Sugar and Cream
for my cotton projects. I do not like it that much as I feel it is a harsh
yarn and would never use it for facecloths and the like. Is there another
brand that you all have used that is softer and feels better? I like the
cost of Lilly's and the amount of yarn you receive for the money, but not
the feel. Sure like to hear from others who work with a cotton yarn as to
what other brands they use.
