Terry,

I like LionBrand cotton-ease which is an acrylic cotton blend. It is quite
soft and does not shrink as much as pure cotton. Also it will not melt! I
made a loom knit hot plate holder out of cotton-ease and it has not melted
though I have placed the casserole dish on it straight from the oven.
The only drawback to this Lion Brand yarn is that there are only a few
colors to choose from.  Boo hoo. A blind person crying about not having
enough colors. <sniffles>
