Our list does get busy time to time and at other times it is rather slow. I
don't know how many of you have constant connections to other people like
you and me without sight. The only way we can learn is by asking questions.
The majority of the time our emails are regarding crafting and other times
are the OT.

Some of us do not have time to be involved or read every email and that is
OK. Some of us don't have many friends, outside activities or family that
can understand.

I believe we have all learned so much from each other far beyond how to hold
a crochet hook or give pumpkin to our dogs and how to make an Easter egg
out of safety pins and beads. I have told folks to call me or email me any
time and if I can help or know of someone who can help you, that is what I
am here for.

A lot of friendships have begun here and will go on without ever meeting or
even speaking to each other.

So plese use the OT, share your woe's, joys, loss, delights and sale flyers.
If you don't want to read it everyone knows where that delete button is.

I will send reminders out when folks switch topics and don't change subject
lines{part of my job].

I rather have friends to share and read emails from that will put a smile on
my face or crafting questions to make me think, instead of reading a manual
or pattern directions and not have anyone there to ask or help me figure out
how to do something.

Remember OT and staying on topic or switching those subject lines.

I love all of my friends here and I love being able to pick up a phone and
giving you a call when I feel like it. Without you I would have a dull
life. Thank you all for the stimulation.

Joyce

Since your message was posted on list, I wanted to reply on list. I am sorry
you feel that way about the OT listing about dogs. I had to take the evening
to pray about my reply but I need to state it because the message was
directed to me but touches many here. I was offendered by your comments.
Krafters is important to me not just for crafting but for the friendships I
have made here. I have listened to many topics over my 7 years here, from
dogs, kids, operations and drains and people getting lost in the snow. Every
once in awhile everyone gets down and needs to know there are friends out
there who can help get them thru a bad day or time, even if about a dog or a
washer. This list is more than crafts if I want that I will join another
plain web list. I was offended you told me to join another list, that you
are unconcerned about a problem I was having. If you read the posts I
commented that we need to list our post as OT to make certain that people
who do not want to read them would be able to delete them. I know my faith
tells me "If I do things for the lest of them, I do it unto the Lord" so I
fit into that part. If anyone out there needs to share their problems I for
one will gladly take some of my time to know they need a caring person to
listen. I really care nothing about yarn or crafts but care about listening
and caring for others. This will be my only reply to this post, I said what
I needed to say. I feel bad for those who do not want to get to really know
and love people who care for things rather than caring for people and their
troubles. So to sum up this post. Keep posting in OT with messages of your
dog, your awards, your kids, your sad things and your rejoicing, please do
it with OT in the subject line. I for one will keep reading or Deleting, if
necessary, but Never list my opinion to join another list because I am too
busy to care.

Terry Knox
