I do not believe you will find these looms at Cindy Wood Crafts.

I actually spoke to the gentleman that has brought them back.  Since he is
using the name of the original looms I an not sure if it is the same
gentleman or a relative.

They are called Love and Money Hexagon Looms by John Alan.  The new looms
are made out of a heavier plastic and guaranteed to last or they will
replace them.  With the new loom you get 4 different size hexagons.  With
the Original loom you got that plus 2 more looms which I believe are square
looms.{I will have to let you know on that]  

I asked him about if you could do continuous weave on these looms and I
don't think he knew what I was talking about.  

I did find U Tube videos on weaving on them, but I need to go back and check
out more of them as the one I listened to had music and no talking which
didn't help me out.

So that is what I found out so far.  I asked him about the finishing off the
sides and from what he told me it isn't like the way I thought it could be
done.

You do not use loops to make this.  You use yarn.

I can't say any more as I didn't follow all that he had said.  So I need to
get it in my hands and have someone read it or scan it in and go over the
manual.

Are we on the same thought wave???

I just bought one of these hexagon looms just for doing this.

I had put in a bid on EBay and then went out and was doing more searching
for them and learned they actually have remade these looms and have them for
sale brand new and guaranteed.  I was hoping they wouldn't accept my bid and
planned on purchaseing a new one.

I should be getting mine by the beginning of the week.  I did get an
additional instruction book on making lap and blankets.

I will let everyone know more once I receive it.  Supposely it comes with
pieces to put together to make larger size hexagons.

They originally made these looms back in the 70s to mid 80s.

If this doesn't work the way I hope it will, I have another loom that I
recently had gotten that I think will work, but got some yarn to test it out
and think I need to get another cone so I can hold it double.

Does anyone know how to make the hexagon placemats and square hot pads on
the looms?

I have some I picked up years ago at a church fair and would love to make
some new ones.

They are layers of different colors of yarn in a grid and there are loops
around the outside edge.
