My loom is home made.  There may be an inch between the nails.  It would b e
very difficult to tie off the flowers, if the nails or pegs are closer
together.  Yes, the mat is lacey, which adds to the beauty of the work.

I received it today.  I am not sure about using this loom.  I will need to
get someone to read the manual to me.

The spacing between the pegs are one inche which is really wide and the pegs
are thin.

I did more research yesterday and it says you need to use thick yarn or it
comes out lacey.

I will let you know more.
