I hate you've had to leave chats early. Here's a tip so you won't have to
leave chats before you want to.

If you want to go on what we call "mute," just press *6 and you will be
muted but can still listen to the chat. To come off mute simply press the
same key sequence and you are immuted.  You will hear a message when you go
on and off mute.

This key sequence works for classes, too.

Maybe you won't have to leave chats before you want to.
