Terry,

You're using one of the dishcloth patterns? Inquiring minds want to
know...which pattern are you using?

I kind of thought the same! I am taking one of the wash cloths, dixey
tought and using it for a baby blanket!
See, you can take something small and make it big!
I had trouble getting the Denice interchangeable needles to click together.
I called Joyce 2 or 3 times, but she was not home. I gave Henry a shot at
putting them together, since I sent him Joyce's directions and bingo, he did
it.
I now have this fluffy baby blanket started, with a rainbow yarn called
pitter patter. I love the feal, but it is easier to work with on the loom
than on needles. It has a thread running through it and the stitches do not
expand and contract, easily.
I think it is Bernet Baby Blanket.
Some little baby is going to be blessed to get it at their Baptism.
I have 2 blankets in the works. The other one was getting to heavy so I
wanted a change and wanted to try my new needles.
I bought them for myself, for my birthday, in April
When You want a special craft item, it is hard to explain to a family
member, just what you want. Jill, helped me order them, on line. I got the
larger set of needles and larger set of cables, connecters and stoppers for
the end of your cable.

Hello, Terry,
Since you say that you are using large needles, there would be some space
vertically between rows, so the half-knot and the weaving in of the two
tails could be as noticeable as the knot. I would suggest that if it ain't
broken, don't fix it. I remember once many, many years ago when the hills
were young, knitting a baby blanket with Bernat Beehive yarn, 100% wool
yarn, but which was full of knots, at least two per skein. The problem with
a baby blanket is that you cannot make a join and then hide it in the seam.
Dotty
