My grandmother made sweet pickles using store bought whole dills. She would
slice the dills about 1/2" thick, pour out the juice (I think), put the
dill slices back in the jar & finally cover with two cups of sugar. You let
them sit for about 7-10 days to let the sugar do it's stuff. These were so
good!
If these directions are not correct, I will make the correction in another
post. This was used for a gallon pickles.
