Hi Valerie;
I prefer the Knifty knitter looms and the Michaels brand called Loops and 
threads.
The Boye looms have a horizontal groove at the top that can snag your yarn, 
and make it harder to lift the loops up and over the pegs.
I believe that you can still get the Knifty Knitter looms from Amazon.
