Hi Valerie,
The nifty knitterround loom set is a good choice. However, you will need to purchase the 12 peg flower loom separately. As for needles, I love circulars myself. The advantage of the interchangeable needles is that you don't have to purchase so many needles. I chose to purchase a set of circulars all in one length but of different gauges. For example, a set of16 inch long needles in gauges a throughly n.This gives me a wide range oft hinges I can make.
As for getting everything at once... Good luck with that. I try that all the time and always find there is something else to get. Hmm, don't forget stitch markers and a yarn needle. The loom tool should be included with your looms. I am so excited to see you begin this adventure.

Yes, I saw the nifty knitter looms on Amazon for a reasonable price. I looked at some of the reviews for the Boye looms, and they mentioned exactly what you described, Henry.
I'm trying to make a list of supplies in my head so I can buy everything at once. I also need some needles and cotton yarn for the dishcloth class. I wanted to ask the opinion of anyone on the list on weather it is better to get a set of interchangeable Circular knitting needles, or a fixed set of each size of needle as needed. I prefer circular knitting needles because that's all I have ever used, so I want to find something that works well. I Don't want them to be fancy. I just want them to be affordable, and do the job.
I have signed up for the Loom Knit flower class, and I'm looking forward to making lots of things with my set. I have a friend who is having a baby, and hopefully one day I can try making a hat for her. She's naming her serenity.:-)
