Henry, I’d guess the pickles had been processed in “Purple Brine,” right? so, we could then change the chorus of “Purple Rain” at the party, to that effect...

At some point, I’ll also be contacting you off-list—with all these parts of thread on loom knitting, you guys now have me curious! I was a  a die-hard hand knitter  from the age of ten, (though I am now addicted to crocheting, because of the speed, and well, because I think that, for me, formal logic finally kicked in when I was in my late 30s, so I now have a better understanding of where the hook needs to go, etc, than in my more-concrete days). ). So, even if I don’t try it, I do want to know what loom knitting is all about, what you can do with it, etc. Maybe an off-list contact wouldn’t be appropriate—in that, there may be more listers not yet familiar with the craft, so we could all benefit from some basic info... Thanks!
