Hi Becky, this project sounds like it will be easy enough for the beginning 
crocheter, and challenging enough for the more advanced crocheter as well.
Don't be too surprised to be hearing from folks for your knowledge on 
Tunesian Crochet.

This is a really nice piece to make. Use your creativity after you learn how
to make the scarf. I have made several and get complements nearly every time
my friends wear there scarves. My mom likes hers as the scarf doesn't Cush
her hair. For my mom I used a wool blend so it would be light weight, but
add some warmth with a smaller needle. The piece was light weight but dense
so she would stay warm.

For those of you who know how to do Tunisian crochet, give this one a whirl.

I purchase Caron Simply Soft yarn in autumn red and a size H crochet hook
from www.knittingwarehouse.com for this scarf.
