Hi Ronda,

My Mom taught me pretty much everything I know.  She was the ultimate crafty
lady.  I never saw a craft she couldn't do.  

One time when I went to visit her in Florida, she said to me, "I wonder if
you could make a picture of a flower with the grid?"  Then she said,
"Probably not."  She knew me well enough that would make me say of course I
could, and I did.

Hi Bernice,

I've worked with plastic canvas in the past, but not in a long time. I 
copied things I saw. Back in the 80's, dice made from canvas were the in 
thing and people would hang them from their rear view mirrors. You mentioned

projects you've made. Did you use patterns? I haven't made time to go online

and look for patterns for canvas, but would like to learn to work with it 
more.

I just finished my beaded Christmas tree.  It is pretty cool.



I haven't heard of anybody on the list working with plastic canvas.  I have
done lots in the past, but I would love some new projects.



If you aren't familiar with the plastic canvas or grid, you do standard
needlepoint stitches on the plastic canvas.  I have made boutique and
standard Kleenex box covers, different styles of boxes, coasters, a b c
blocks, and Christmas tree decorations.  With my Mom's help I made a hot air
balloon mobile for a baby's crib, and a matching Kleenex box cover.



Anybody out there with this type of projects?
