Terry,

Can you explain a bit more about what you mean by "thread beads between your
open sections of canvas?"?

You need to be good at cutting plastic canvas to make this.

Cut 5 strips of canvas, 3 squares across and make them what ever length you
want. I would make them at least 15 squares long.

Fold a piece in half and stitch around the edges and stitch it closed, so it
looks like a tear drop or pettle of a flower, rounded on one side and
pointed on the other. Do this with the other 4 pieces.
I would use white or a color for a star.
Putting the curves to the center, you are going to form a star, by using
yarn or thread and going through the center row of squares, about half way
up the tear drop, and thread beads between your open sections of canvas. Go
all the way around, through all 5 sections and back through the first and
make a hanging loop. Make sure the curves are snug, together in the center,
before tightening.

Makes a nice ornament.

Terry P.
