Terry, I would have written off-list, but didn’t see your email address, so if permitted, one last comment about revolution: You are so-o-o right about developing sharpened tools out of seemingly harmless objects!! Even a blunt darning needle could be made into something we could use somehow in bustin’ out of prison!! Thanks for the reminder—I’m obviously showing how green I am re prison issues! H’mm, I guess I’ll have to use my teeth to accomplish some of the steps in crafting—have to gnaw at the yarn to disconnect the ball from the project. Maybe I’ll have to use a lipstick tube as a crochet hook...

BTW, changed my mind about one project currently in progress—it’s going to be a nice, cozy shawl, not a hat/scarf combo. My niece gave me a shawl from a tightly-woven sweatery material last year which I managed to replicate in regular worsted, but I got to thinking how wonderful it would be worked up in this toasty, slightly-nubby yarn; and it works up super-fast!
